1/2 tbsp kosher salt
Instructions:
- Put yeast in a large bowl, then combine with lukewarm water.
- Let sit for 5-10 minutes

- Loosely cover with cellophane or a lid that doesn’t totally cover the bowl and allow to rise for one hour
- Lightly oil the bottom and sides of a skillet
- After the hour, cover your hands with flour and then put a good amount of flour on the top of the risen dough
- Remove the dough from the bowl and shape it into a disk without over-handling
- Place in the skillet, then cover with a towel and allow to rise again for 30 minutes
- Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees F
- Lightly cover the top of the dough with olive oil
- Gently slice an X-shape into the bread with a knife
- If you want savory bread, sprinkle lightly with salt and fresh herb of your choice
- Bake for approximately 35-40 minutes, or until the bread is a golden brown
